Xbox Live Marketplace: Classics from Atari in 2007 and holiday title list

Microsoft announced that six classic coin-op games from Atari are coming to the Xbox Live Arcade during 2007. The lineup consists of Centipede and Millipede, Battlezone, Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe, Missile Command, Tempest, and Warlords. Each title will include a classic version and an evolved version, which adds HD graphics, revamped sound, achievements, and online support.

Microsoft also confirmed its Xbox Live Arcade holiday release list. Check out the full lineup below the jump.

• Small Arms: an indie-developed original title designed specifically for Xbox Live Arcade, featuring frantic multiplayer brawling combined with action and precision shooting.
• Novadrome: originally developed futuristic racing on Xbox Live Arcade.
• Assault Heroes: last waves of formidable foes in this originally developed top-down shooter, single player or two player co-op action.
• Heavy Weapon: experience this irreverent, original side-scrolling action game that supports up to 4 players simultaneously.
• Defender: space combat classic updated for this generation.
• Contra: the seminal side-scrolling shooter that started it all will be launching on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, November 8 at 0800 GMT
