As a part of Nintendo's effort to bring gaming to the masses, the company will use the Touch Generations brand to indicate casual DS titles. Beginning in June, games that are accessible and fun for everyone will ship with the distintive Touch Generations logo.
"We remain committed to turning video games into an inclusive mass medium that everyone can enjoy," says George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. "Touch Generations will help novices and newcomers identify the fun and uniquely engaging experiences that are available only on Nintendo DS."
First titles with the Touch Generations brand:
- Big Brain Academy
- Magnetica
- Sudoku Gridmaster
- Brain Age
- Nintendogs
- Tetris
- True Swing Golf
