Want to be in the epicenter of the video game explosion? Pack up and head for Seattle. Microsoft and Sperling's BestPlaces conducted a survey about the geographic location of video gamers. The results, which rank the top 15 cities in the United States, were based on several factors including consoles per household (Xbox, Xbox 360, PC, PS2, and GameCube), number games purchased, and number of games rented. The results are listed below.
- Seattle
- Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn.
- Atlanta
- Detroit
- Phoenix-Mesa, Ariz.
- Washington, D.C.
- St. Louis
- Boston
- San Diego
- Philadelphia
- Chicago
- Dallas
- Houston
- San Francisco
- New York
It's surprising that New York is number 15 and Los Angeles doesn't appear at all.

i can see seattle, it rains like 6 days out of the week there so they really can not do anything but play video games and such indoors, or risk committing suicide.
by the way today was murder. Comp sci I don't care about, but stats was going good up until the last question that counts for 25% of the exam wherein it was a complete crap question that no one was able to do.
