I am officially a college gamer

American University LogoThe lack of updates is due to me moving into college last week. As a freshman at American University I'll have to focus a little more on school work and a little less on gaming. But I was happy to find that the AU's bookstore stocks a modest selection of Xbox 360 games. I've had trouble logging into Xbox Live because the network here requires you to use web browser to login before each session. But hopefully I'll figure that out before too long.

AU also has a club called AU Gamers. I'm pretty sure they have weekly meetings and events. I start classes tomorrow so I'll have a better idea of how much I'll be blogging soon. I hope all the other college freshman readers are enjoying the college life like I am.

homework kinda sucks, basically its just reading. like every subject is just read this chapter and we will talk about it in class.

I don't think I am going to take my xbox let alone a 360 if I had one to college. I am going to stick with the good ol' n64, and see what everyone else in my hall has.

mike, have you ever had any problems with still using the N64 in terms of the fact that the controllers give out rather quickly? I'm trying to find a way to restock on controllers for the N64 in a now N64 discontinued world.

i haven't had too much trouble with the controllers. I only had to get two new ones over the lifetime of the system. One died, but the other just got ruined by someone.

just moved into my dorm, now for a weeklong orientation. My roommate is cool he is south korean from vancouver. Tyler is like on the otherside of campus in the sweet dorms for the early decision people. Got my old school n64, but lost smash so I need to buy a new one. are there cheats to get all the characters?
