[image:641 align=left hspace=5 size=medium nolink=1]Kotaku put it all on the line by posting some images and information about Burger King's plan to create three video games that will act as interactive billboards. Now they are being threatened by some legal types. Apparently, the information was collected by The General Counsel for Greenfield Online, a company that researched demand for fast food video games. Their letter Kotaku said, They are claiming that posting the information infringes on their intellectual property rights.
"This information was disclosed to research participants who were not authorized to make additional disclosures, and in disclosing the information may have violated the intellectual property rights of our client."
The funny thing is that no one really cares too much about games that are blatantly being used as marketing tools. Kotaku then got their hands on what appears to be an FAQ for BK franchise owners that explains why the video games are a good idea.
